Young Yogi's Mindful Adventures for 7-11 years!

Tues & Thurs @ 10:30 and 3:30
Young Yogis Mindful Adventures for 4-7 years!

These classes are designed specifically for the motor, cognitive and sensory benefits of the early elementary aged students.  Each Class is different so register for one or all classes!

Participants will 

  • stretch and strengthen their bodies through yoga postures and motor activities
  • build social skills through interactive games and stories with related yoga poses
  • improve focus and attention by incorporating self-regulation strategies, and breathing techniques into developmentally appropriate yoga & Mindfulness games
  • end each class with calming relaxation time (i.e. guided stories, sharing time, etc.)

FREE Basics and Beyond Chakra Yoga Class with Gloria! 

* This is a free trial class open to everyone at all levels. Beginners are welcome and invited! So grab a friend or come alone we're happy to have you! 
* Childcare is available during this class so come on over and bring the kids while you trial your yoga class!

Chakra yoga is a type of yoga practice that combines various aspects of other yogic traditions to activate the energy centers along the spine, also known as the chakras. To open the chakras, this type of yoga employs asanas, meditation, and pranayama breathing exercises.  Activating the lower chakras and opening the upper chakras awakens the bodies energies and allows it to move more easily through the body.

Chakra yoga often uses the asanas employed in Hatha yoga because they keep the body and spine aligned, which helps liberate and balance the flow of chakra energy. The meditation, chanting and breath practice relax the mind, reducing stress and increasing energy.
