Fall 2020 is Happening at Movement, Mindfulness & Me Family Yoga and Massage!
The Fall 2020 Children's/ Tween Session is here!
We are so excited to announce what we have in store for Fall 2020. It looks a little different and we ask your patience as your read through the details!
We have heard from so many of you that your child is ready to get back to yoga and we are ready to have them back in the studio safely!
One parent recently shared with us that she realized "no matter what we choose for school, I know he needs to get back to his weekly yoga class! I didn't realize just how beneficial it was... I knew it was making a difference - just not how much until now ...we need to get back. Maybe even twice a week with homeschooling!"
At M,M and Me we support that yoga eases symptoms of anxiety and overall stress through direct benefits to both the body and mind. This is just as true for our children as for us as adults and now more than ever. We are all facing new changes and coming to your mat can prove so beneficial in so many ways!
Physically, yoga induces a relaxation response and can reduce the heart rate. On a psychological level, mindfulness promotes a focus on the present moment, guiding thoughts away from anxiety or worry about future events. With practice this happens more easily on & off the mat.
We will teach the same wonderful things- needed now more than ever by our fabulous young yogis!
Self Awareness, Attention, Focus, Self Regulation, Emotional Regulation, physical postures to strength and balance...and so much more!
Our studio will not look like this in 2020 ... only 5 children/ Tweens per class for everyone's best interest- but that means classes are filling quickly!
A wait list will be created for each class and we will effort to create classes. Opening a spot for every child and family wanting to attend our Mini Movers, Young Yogi Mindful Adventures and Tween Classes!
SO ...How Do I Register this Year?

"Normal" Fall 2020 Children's Sessions
Did you choose back to school? Then simply find the class that fits your child's age group on our website and register for a weekly class for this 7- week fall session as you have in the past. Your child attends his/her class with a maximum class capacity of 5 or 6 children. 6 if their are relatives that can be within the 6 foot social distancing area. We have made 5 clear socially distanced yoga spaces for each class. Masks will be worn in the studio during transitions but not on the mat.
Custom Small Group Yoga Sessions
Homeschooling, Virtual Academy or Flex Schooling ? We have open times waiting for your custom small group! These times are open and waiting for small groups to reserve weekly sessions together. For example, you can form a small group of 4-5 children similar in age range and request a day and time for their class to occur that fits your home-school or virtual academy schedule. These groups may be family, friends that you have chosen to socially interact with, or children in the same homeschooling group. These sessions will be organized by a parent leader and that parent leader can contact the studio and coordinate the specific day and time that the group desires. Once reserved we will happily contact all persons provided by the parent contact and reserve your weekly "Custom Yoga Session"!
Share with us what your family needs and we will collaborate with you to find the best fit. In this time of Covid, every family is more unique than ever before. We are offering more private sessions for both our children, adults and pre- natal friends and are happy to help. We are parents too and in this environment we hope to click the seat belt and be there for your as this wild ride continues.
