What is *WREN'S WALLETS
*WREN’S WALLETS is an initiative of Wren’s Village (501c3) in honor of 6 year-old Wren Jansen who just beat pediatric cancer (Leukemia) on Dec 7th!
Wren’s Wallets will help in a small way, going to families who express a need upon admission to the 11th floor (the hematology/oncology floor at Levine Children’s Hospital). In this wallet they will find gift cards to alleviate some of the burden of a hospital admission … be it a gas card, local restaurant gift cards, Uber/Lyft, Walgreens/CVS, Target/Walmart etc.
Each wallet is valued at $200-$250. No amount is too small to help! So far Wren’s Village has given over 50 wallets to families in need battling in all stages of pediatric cancer.
How Can You Help?
- Register to join us Saturday June 15th at 9 am. Go to our website and choose the Scheudle drop down in the top bar. Proceed to 6/15 and register at no cost. A second class at 10:30 will be added when wait-list starts- If we need to add a third - we will celebrate all day !
- Send this email to all of your friends and family with kiddos who like to celebrate DAD!
- Donations of gift cards, cash or check will be accepted to create a Wallet - hopefully two!
