Movement is essential for fast-growing bodies. Yoga can provide pre-teens with challenging movement opportunities while building characteristics of self-esteem, confidence, inner and outer strength, attention, concentration, and heightened awareness of both oneself and others.
This class involves both yoga postures to build strength and stability and activities and games that develop the above mentioned skills. Tweens historically love the opportunity to practice and discuss issues important to them in this small group setting!
