Dawn's yoga practice started when a fellow runner suggested that she check out yoga to help improve her run performance. Her initial reaction was, “Yea, like yoga will really help my run." Reluctantly, she tried yoga. She instantaneously fell in love with the practice. Not only did it help with her performance, it also helped with mind, body, and soul. Her yoga practice became her escape from, and antidote for,
the stresses of life in the business world.
In 2015, Dawn decided to deepen her practice by completing her 200-hour teacher certification. That first training sparked such interest in Dawn that she continued her studies throughout the past 6 years and is also a holistic life coach and Reiki Practitioner!
Dawn is currently in the process of studying to become a yoga therapist through East Coast Yoga Therapy- always growing and learning in her practice and always sharing with others.
When Dawn is not doing yoga, teaching yoga or practicing, she loves to hike, read, and spend time with family and her wonderful rescue dogs, Zoie and Ziggy.
