Children's Yoga & Mindfulness Programming

Hour long classes (Aug- June) and Summer Camps (Mornings June- August). Children participate in yoga-based games/activities and mindfulness lessons that with practice improve self- awareness, awareness of others and ability to self-regulate, calm and focus.  Through practice, just like any sport or musical instrument, these social-emotional skills become more automatic and begin to occur more naturally in daily life experiences.

Adult Yoga

A comfortable studio space is provided where one can explore yoga. As a beginner or someone returning to yoga after a time away you will find a   supportive and nurturing environment. We encourage you to meet your body where it is each time you come to your mat and to love its movements and abilities as you expand your practice. Modifications are provided and teachers encourage the use of props during practice. Props support the  body and assist in providing the “just right” challenge for your body. We encourage meeting your edge without pain or discomfort while discovering the ease of expanding both the physical and metal body.

Reiki

Give yourself the gift of time and space to be held and cared for during a gentle energy session. 

Reiki is a gentle and peaceful healing modality that assists in restoring feelings of harmony in your body, mind, heart and spirit. 

Rest in this space of harmony as your body release any stress, anxiety , exhaustion and worry and enjoy the benefits of your Reiki session even after the treatment is complete…

I'm a first time mom and 7 months pregnant and let me tell you, that was a great class. Exactly what I needed and well guided. I know my regular yoga poses, but not with a bun in the oven. I was nervous about what was safe for me to do and Dawn was an excellent teacher. She made sure that we were all breathing nice and deep while checking in with what our bodies needed and could do while preggs. My lower back and legs felt such a relief after the class. My 7yr old daughter attends a weekly yoga class at Movement Mindfulness and Me and it’s honestly the highlight of her week. Dawn and Lori are two of the sweetest most compassionate ladies I know. They care so much about their students and their families. Yoga has helped my daughter improve her balance, strength, and endurance and we have been able to eliminate her having to go to OT from her taking weekly yoga classes. We are so thankful for all that Dawn and Lori have done to help our daughter the last few years.

I love the studio space. Dawn hires great teachers, who have their own style of yoga. They all really know their stuff. I also love the outdoor classes that take place in the summer. A great place for a kid, a beginner, a senior, or an advanced yogi!
